The Lotus Learning Series

Topic:

Medication and Your Child

Speaker:

Ken Dirk, Pharm D

Ken has been a pharmacist for almost 14 years. He has 2 children on the autism spectrum who receive services from The Lotus Tree.

  Family Centered Approach

Family Centered

We provide a family-centered approach to developing a treatment plan for children who are having challenges with sensory processing, learning, motor planning, auditory processing, and social interaction

We also work with adults who are seeking to improve their thought processes, overall well-being or to simply de-stress

The drive behind our intervention technique is to create balance and efficiency within the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) so that one can effectively meet the challenges of one’s environment.

The Lotus Tree SI Center

The Lotus Tree Sensory Integration Center currently offers one full-time Occupational Therapist, one Physical Therapist and two Speech Therapists.

Our facility is located at Bown Crossing in the Park Center district of Boise, Idaho. The center includes a 2000+ square foot custom Occupational Therapy Gymnasium featuring a climbing wall, indoor tree house with a cork screw slide and a zip line.

  Our Mission

Safe, Fun, Respectful

The Lotus Tree Sensory Integration Center provides a safe, fun, and respectful place where children can move beyond the labels and into their full potential.

Understanding where a child is now and what they can become allows us to celebrate every accomplishment.

We aspire to facilitate the intrinsic drive for health, happiness and well being that exists within us all.
